The GrowMax MEGA GROW 1000 L/D Garden Reverse Osmosis water system is capable of reducing up to 99% of most contaminants. This system is designed for use with hydroponic or garden applications. This system is built to give the maximum amount of flow from the membrane.
Recommended conditions of the water used:
- Water Temperature: 25º C
- Water Pressure: 60 psi / 4.3 kg/cm3
- TDS (Total Dissolved Solids): 500 ppm / 0.7 EC
Therefore the production will increase or decrease according to variations in the above water conditions.
Removes or Reduces: Salts, Heavy Metals, Chloramines, nitrates, nitritets, Chlorine, Sediment, dirt, rust, oxidation, Herbicides and Pesticides, Volatile Organic Contaminants (Chemical Contaminants, Benzenes, Toluene, Oils, THM’s, Detergents, PCB’s).
When to change the filters:
- sediment filter - approximately every 12000 liters of treated water or when clogged
- carbon filter - approximately every 12000 liters of treated water or depending on the usage
- membrane - membranes have a lifetime of 6 months to 2 years depending on the quality of the water and the change of the carbon filter because chlorine is absolutely contraindicated for the membrane.
*If the carbon filter is damped, it will reduce the life of the membrane.
