The Milwaukee EC45 PRO is designed for growers who want to quickly and reliably monitor the concentration of nutrient solutions. Maintaining the correct EC value is key to optimal nutrient uptake and preventing plant deficiency or over-fertilization. The EC45 PRO measures EC, TDS (500 and 700 ppm scale) and CF , allowing the grower to use their preferred measurement system.

The device is extremely easy to operate – you only need to immerse the measuring part in the solution. It has no buttons , it turns on automatically when immersed and after stabilizing the measurement it turns off itself after about 30 seconds , which significantly extends the battery life. The bright 24-LED display shows the measured value, battery status and warnings for values outside the measuring range.

Unlike standard EC testers, the EC45 PRO is factory calibrated and does not require periodic user calibration. The graphite electrodes are resistant to build-up, and the robust housing allows the device to be used as a stirring rod when preparing nutrient solutions. Thanks to automatic temperature compensation, measurements remain accurate at temperatures between 5°C and 50°C .

📋 Method of use

1. Remove the protective cap.
2. Immerse the electrode in the nutrient solution.
3. Gently stir the solution with the measuring device for even measurement.
4. Wait for the LED indication to stabilize.
5. When finished, rinse the electrode with clean water.
6. If necessary, periodically clean the electrode according to the manufacturer's instructions.

⚠️ Important: Although the EC45 PRO does not require calibration, the manufacturer recommends regular cleaning of the graphite electrodes to prevent the accumulation of salts and food residues that can affect the accuracy of the measurement.
