Aji Picante de Eusebio is a variety with an interesting history related to the Canary Islands. It has been grown for many years in Tenerife , with the beginning of the selection attributed to an unknown grower named Eusebio .

Its main advantage is the combination of compact teardrop-shaped fruits, fruity aroma and moderate heat . At around 10,000 SHU, the pepper is spicy enough to add character to food without reaching the extreme levels of Habanero and superhot varieties.

🔥 Anger

10,000 SHU

This is a convenient spice for culinary use - distinct enough, but allowing the fruity aroma to be felt, instead of the taste being dominated solely by spiciness.
