The Calabrian devil is a traditional Italian variety of chili peppers and the spiciest ( 50,000 Scoville ) of the Mediterranean varieties. The plant grows to medium height and produces numerous red fruits that grow in clusters of 10-15 and are distinguished by a strong spiciness , spicy taste and rich aroma . The variety is easy to grow and is particularly suitable for outdoor and pot cultivation.
