Speed switch VENTS P2-1-300 / P3-1-300 – 230 V

The P2-1-300 is not a variable speed controller. It is designed specifically for fans that are factory-equipped with two separate motor speeds . Using the rotary switch, the user selects low or high speed or turns the fan off completely.

This makes it suitable for a number of two-speed VENTS fans, including models from the TT series, where the manufacturer lists it as an external accessory for controlling the two-speed motor.

How it works

Management is as simple as possible:

OFF – the fan is off
1 – low speed
2 – high speed.

P2-1-300 switches between the ready speed outputs of the motor . Therefore, it should only be used with a fan whose motor is designed for two-speed operation.

Compatibility

The P2-1-300 is designed for two-speed fans . VENTS, for example, lists it as a suitable external switch for the two-speed models of the VENTS TT series.

It is important that the specific fan has separate electrical terminals for low and high speed . If the motor is single-speed and allows regulation by changing the voltage, another type of regulator is required, for example from the RS-1 series.

Installation and protection

P2-1-300 is intended for indoor wall mounting in a suitable mounting box. The manufacturer expressly warns against:

• direct sunlight;
• installation directly next to heating appliances and other heat sources. The electrical connection must be carried out with the power supply switched off and by a qualified person.
