HE402 humidifier – For ventilation systems up to 600–700 m³

HE402 is designed for professional applications where precise humidity control is required. It is mounted on a Ø200 mm duct and works in conjunction with a suitable duct fan. For maximum performance, the manufacturer recommends an inlet water pressure of at least 2 bar and an inlet air temperature of around 28–30°C . Under these conditions, the system reaches optimal humidification capacity.

The humidifier uses a special evaporative element through which the air flow passes. This allows for uniform humidification without the formation of free water mist in the room, which is especially suitable for environments with lighting, electronics and sensitive equipment.

If higher performance is required, the system can be combined with a booster pump , which increases the water pressure to 8 bar . This disperses the water into significantly finer drops, which improves evaporation and increases humidification efficiency.

For automatic operation, the manufacturer recommends using a hygrostat that simultaneously controls the solenoid water valve, the fan and any booster pump. This way, the humidifier only operates when needed and a stable relative humidity level is maintained.

Installing an air distribution sleeve after the humidifier contributes to a more even distribution of moist air in the room, and using a filter before the fan limits the accumulation of dust on the evaporator element. An additional advantage of the system is that it also has a slight cooling effect on the air during operation.

📋 Method of use

1. Mount the humidifier to a Ø200 mm air duct.
2. Connect the device to a water supply with a pressure of at least 2 bar .
3. If necessary, install a booster pump for higher performance.
4. Connect the fan and solenoid valve to a humidistat for automatic control.
5. If possible, use an air distribution sleeve for more even humidity distribution.
6. Clean the evaporator element periodically and keep the system free of dust buildup for optimal performance.

⚠️ Important: For proper operation, the manufacturer recommends that all electrical components (fan, solenoid valve and booster pump, if any) be turned on and off simultaneously via the humidistat. If the fan remains on after the water has stopped, humidification will continue for some time due to residual moisture in the evaporator element.
