Thunder Mountain Longhorn

This is an incredibly long, slender pepper that can grow up to 40 cm ! The plants remain quite compact: about 1 m tall, which makes it suitable for growing in a pot. It is considered an improvement of the 'Long Cayenne' and inherits at least its mild heat and sweet flavor notes. The pepper originates from the Chinese province of Guizhou, where the tradition involves drying in the sun and smoking the peppers over charcoal to grind them into flakes , powder or spices .
