Jiffy-7 helps in faster rooting. The limiting effect of exposure to air on the surface of the blocks encourages the development of strong filamentous roots inside the block. This can speed up seedling development by up to 25% and results in stronger and more compact plants.

Jiffy-7 is supplied in a dry compressed form, convenient for storage. The blocks are easily hydrated by hand watering or the normal seedling watering cycle.

All Jiffy-7 blocks have a shaped indentation in the center for easy insertion of even the thinnest cuttings. The fully closed mesh cover allows easy handling without loss of substrate, without damage to roots and allows extension of time to transplant.
