PLANT!T Vermiculite 10L is a naturally soft and porous material obtained by mica expansion. Vermiculite has high cation exchange - this helps in the gradual release of nutrients - potassium, calcium, magnesium, iron, silicon and other trace elements.

Please note that PLANT!T Vermiculite is not a fertiliser so the additioni of a feed will be required!

 

For Propagation From Cuttings:

 

  • Fill container with a 100mm layer of PLANT!T Vermiculite and moisten thoroughly, add the cutting to your pot and firm in Vermiculite around stem. When roots develop, feed with Root!t First Feed.

 

For Propagation From from Seed:

 

  • Use PLANT!T Vermiculite or a mix of 50/50 with a seed compost. Or use a layer of Vermiculite to cover seeds in existing seed compost mixtures. Feed with Root!t First Feed when seed have germinated.

 

Potting Compost For Container Planting:

 

  • For better results, mix 2 parts Perlite and 1 part Vermiculite.

 

For Soil Conditioning:

 

  • Simply mix in with your soil to desired moisture level.
